Trevor Stewart of North Carolina A&T State and Morgan State’s Desean White were selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) Co-Men's Track Athletes of the Week while Kayla White of North Carolina A&T State was selected as the women's track athlete of the week. Norfolk State’s Jacob Milton and Florida A&M’s Tiara Corbett were named the MEAC Men's and Women's Field Athletes of the Week, the conference announced today.

Stewart (Lorton, Va.) won the 400-meter dash on Saturday at the Vulcan Invite in Birmingham, Ala. The freshman ran the race in a time of 45.99 and currently ranks ninth nationally and leads the MEAC.

White (Waldorf, Md.) captured a pair of first-place finishes at the HBCU Battle in New York on Saturday. The sophomore won the 60 in a time of 6.76 which ranks 21st nationally while running a time of 21.45 in the 200 (35th nationally).

White (Miami, Fla.) clocked a time of 23.85 in the 200 at the Vulcan Meet. Her time ranks 10th nationally as she also ranks 24th nationally in the 60. White also competed in the 60-meter dash on Saturday as she recorded the second-fastest time in the MEAC in the event.

Milton (Stuttgart, Germany) surpassed the seven-foot mark (7-02.5) for the second time this season as he was the top collegiate finisher (2nd) at the Albany Great Dane Classic on Saturday. He also holds the top mark in the MEAC this season with a height of 7-0.5 set in December.

Corbett (Miami, Fla.) jumped on the scene this weekend with a first-place performance in the triple jump at the Mondo HBCU Indoor Invitational. Her winning length of 40-5.5 feet is currently the top mark in the MEAC and 27th nationally.

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS (Men)

Joseph Amoah (CSU) won the 400 at the HBCU Battle in a personal-record time of 47.99.

Mohamed Bah (HOW) earned a first-place finish with a time of 4:24.74 in the mile run at the HBCU Battle.

Milan Bulluck (HOW) finished first (6-6) in the high jump at the HBCU Battle.

Tamunoibi Dabipi (MDES) won the weight throw (50-10.25) at the HBCU Battle and earned a second-place finish with a mark of 52-3.75 at the Towson Invite. Both marks were personal records.

Sidney Holston (BCU) finished eighth with a 48-foot mark in the shot put at the UAB Vulcan Invitational and finished fifth in the weight throw at the UAB Blazer Invite.

Donovan Mundy (MDES) won the 800-meter dash (1:55.36) at the HBCU Battle.

Aaron Wilkerson (NCAT) finished fifth in the shot put (54-6.75) at the UAB Blazer Invitational.

Jordan Williams (BCU) finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.81 and placed sixth in the 500-meter dash at 1:03.80 during the UAB Blazer and UAB Vulcan Invitationals.

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS (Women)

Anastacia Barham (MSU) took home first-place in both the 400 (56.13) and 60-meter dashes (7.71) at the HBCU Battle.

Martha Bissah (NSU) won the 1,000-meter run in a time of 2:51.28 and placed third in the mile run (4:59.60) at the Albany Great Dane Classic.

Dominique Cleggett (HOW) won the long jump (18-7.75) and placed third in the triple jump (38-9.75) at the HBCU Battle.

Kristen Deacon (CSU) won the weight throw at the HBCU Battle this past weekend. She broke her own school-record with a toss of 57-6.5 and now leads the MEAC in that category.

Tanise Edwards (MDES) placed second in the long jump at 5.64 meters during the HBCU Battle.

Asia Joe (BCU) placed fifth in the 300-meter run with a time of 39.46 at the UAB Blazer Invitational.

Uchechi Onuoha (HOW) won first place at the HBCU Battle with a time of 8.69 in the 60-meter hurdles followed by a second-place finish with a time of 25.35 in the 200.

Erielle Wallace (CSU) ran a second-place time of 56.64 in the 400-meter dash at the HBCU Battle.

Zhane Washington (MSU) captured the triple jump title at the HBCU Battle with a personal best jump of 40 feet.

Akassja White (BCU) placed 14th with a throw of 39-7.75 in the shot put at the UAB Vulcan Invitational.
