ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Saturday proved excellent for the Maryland Eastern Shore track & field team, who competed at the Wesley Brown Invitational on the campus of the United States Naval Academy. The team leaves Annapolis with 14 new personal records set, 10 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship qualifications, four first place finishes, three IC4A/ECAC qualifications and a new school record.

LYNCHBURG, Va. – North Carolina Central University senior Jonathan Williams proved to be the fastest sprinter at Liberty University’s Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational, posting the top times in each of the men’s 60-meter dash races on Saturday (Jan. 28).

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Savannah State University men’s track distance medley team of junior Michael Smith, freshman Javontee Brice, freshman Abbas Abbkar and freshman Cameron Pack, set the school record with a time of 10:53.54 Sunday at the UNCG Dual Meet Matches.

HAMPTON, Va. -- The Hampton University track teams had another dual-event weekend as a few participants went to the Patriot Games at Goerge Mason, while the majority of the team went back to Lynchburg for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at Liberty.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Norfolk State women's track and field team got a first-place finish from its 4x400 meter relay team, whose members also fared well in their individuals events as the Spartans competed over the weekend at the Penn State National.
