EUGENE, Ore. – Howard junior sprinter
Yahnari Lyons and sophomore hurdler
Cenaiya Billups closed out the 2025-26 outdoor track & field season as All-Americans, delivering standout performances Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Billups opened the evening with a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 55.42 to earn First Team All-America honors.
Shortly after, Lyons capped a remarkable season with a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash. The Georgia native clocked a personal-best 22.31, securing First Team All-America recognition in her NCAA Outdoor Championships debut.
Howard wrapped up the national meet with multiple All-America honors after sending seven student-athletes across four entries to the national meet.
