BALTIMORE, Md. – Coppin State University head men’s track and field coach Carl Hicks participated in Career Day at Beechfield Elementary Middle School in Baltimore for 7th graders on Wednesday.
Former Coppin State student-athlete Imhotep Simba is a 7th grade teacher at Beechfield Elementary Middle School and invited his former coach to speak to his class. Coach Hicks spoke to the kids in groups about character, life in general, and encouraged the kids to attend college.
