NORFOLK, Va. – Maryland Eastern Shore’s Khalil Rmidi Kinini and Shelasia Leitch were named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s and Women’s Track Athletes of the Week, as announced by the conference today. Bethune-Cookman’s Michael Tiller and Maryland Eastern Shore’s Shauntel Lucius were chosen as the MEAC Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week.
Rmidi Kinini (Jr., Malaga, Spain, Distance) won two events at the Crimson Elite and Scarlet and White Invitational. He captured first, with a time of 8:14.58, in the 3,000m and followed that with another first in the mile, with a mark of 4:15.63.
Leitch (Jr., Newark, N.J., Sprints) broke the school record in the 60m hurdles, with a time of 8.57, at the Crimson Elite and Scarlet and White Invitational. She also finished 16th in the 60m at 7.83.
Tiller (Jr., Gibsonton, Fla., Jumps) won the triple jump, at the Armory Invitational. He leaped 15.94m to capture the top spot.
Lucius (Jr., Newark, N.J., Jumps) placed first in the triple at the Scarlett and White Invitational, with a leap of 12.02m. She also finished second at the Crimson Elite, in the triple jump, with a height of 12.07m.

Ce’aira Brown (HAM) won the 800m, with a time of 2:07.00, at the Armory Invitational, and was a member of the 4x400 relay team.
Summer Brown (B-CU) finished 13th in the triple jump, with a leap of 11.93m, at the Armory Invitational.
Shenel Crooke (MSU) placed fourth in the 60m dash, with a time of 7.50, at the Armory Invitational.
Rico Duncan (UMES) earned a collegiate high, with a toss of 18.39m in the weight throw, at the Crimson Elite and Scarlet and White Invitational.
Trey Holloway (HAM) won the 60m hurdles at the Armory Invitational, and fell .01 seconds from a school record, at 7.71.
Jailah Mason (MSU) placed third in the high jump, with a leap of 5-11.25 ft., at the Armory Invitational.
Jonathan Moore (B-CU) tallied a third-place finish in the 400m, at the Armory Invitational, with a time of 48.16.
Quamecha Morrison (B-CU) ran 24.97 in the 200m to finish 20th at the Armory Invitational.
Dennis Pugh (FAMU) placed fourth in the 400m, with a time of 48.65, at the Jaguar Invitational.
Rayanna Relerford (DSU) ran 57.12 in the 400m at the Armory Invitational.
