Hall Finishes 8th In 110m Hurdles

EUGENE, Ore. - Savannah State senior Cameron Hall finished 8th in the finals of the men's 110m hurdles in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Hayward Field.

The St. Mary's Georgia native posted a time of 13.61.

Omar McLeod of Arkansas won the race with a time of 13.01.

Hall qualified for the finals by finishing second in his heat in the semi-finals on June 11 with a time of 13.61.

Hall earned the right to compete at the Championships by winning the quarterfinals of the East Preliminary Championships on May 30 with a run of 13.68 at North Florida's Hughes Stadium.

Williams finishes 16th at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. -- Bethune-Cookman's Ed’Ricus Williams finished 16th in the high jump Friday to conclude the Wildcats' run at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field and Championships at the University of Oregon.

The sophomore from Warrenton, Ga. cleared 2.12 meters (6'11 1/2) on his first attempt at that height, but was eliminated after missing three tries at 2.16 meters (7'1).

Williams missed his first two attempts at the opening height of 2.08 meters (6'9 3/4), but remained alive with a successful third try.
