NORFOLK, Va. – Hampton’s Trey Holloway and Breana Norman were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s and Women’s Track Athletes of the Week. Coppin State’s Shane Green and Bethune-Cookman’s Deidra Jordan were named the MEAC Men’s and Women’s Field Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday.
Holloway (So., Chesapeake, Va., Sprints/Hurdles) won the 60m dash, 60m hurdles and 200m at the Hampton Invitational. Holloway captured first in the 60m dash in 7.08, 60m hurdles in 7.99, and closed out the invitational with a first-place finish in the 200m, with a time of 22.25.
Norman (Sr., Virginia Beach, Va., Sprints/Hurdles) swept the 60m dash, 60m hurdles and 200m at the Hampton Invitational. Norman reached ECAC qualification in the 60m dash (7.44) and 200m (25.08). She also won the 60m hurdles, with a time of 8.54, to help the Lady Pirates win their first home indoor meet since 2009.
Green (Jr., Brooklyn, N.Y., Jumps) won the long jump and triple jump at the Terrapins Invitational. Green jumped 7.25m (23-9.5 ft.) to capture the long jump crown and wrapped up the field events by leaping 14.75m (48-4.75 ft.) in the triple jump.
Jordan (Jr., Swainsboro, Ga., Pentathlon) won the pentathlon at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational. Jordan recorded 3,255 points, which was highlighted by winning the high jump and a pair of third-place finishes in the long jump and in the 800m. Her point total ranked 39th in the NCAA this season.

Tremayne Banks (BCU) earned second place at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in the 55m, with a time of 7.48.
Barry Bethea (SCSU) won the 400m, with a time of 49.80, at the Gene Anderson Invitational.
Jefferson Butler (MSU) captured first place in the shot put with an IC4A qualifying toss of 16.04m at the Terrapins Invitational.
Roshel Bygraves (NCAT) won the 400m, with a time of 57.19, at the Gene Anderson Invitational.
Melissa Caddle (CSU) ran 24.18 in the 200m to place second at the Great Dane Classic.
Aaron Chatman (UMES) qualified for the IC4A in the 200m and 400m at the Great Dane Classic.
Jori Cook (Howard) finished second in the 60m hurdles at the Terrapins Invitational, with a time of 9.06.
Jeremy Dorsey (CSU) won the 60m hurdles, with a time of 8.01, at the Terrapins Invitational.
Teiara Denmark (Hampton) reached ECAC qualification in the long jump at the Hampton Invitational, with a leap of 6.12m (20-1 ft.)
Christina Epps (CSU) won the triple jump at the Great Dane Classic, with a jump of 12.93m (42-5.25 ft.).
Nakita Gray (NCAT) placed third in the high jump at 5-8.75 ft. at the Gene Anderson Invitational.
Cameron Hall (SSU) finished first in the 55m hurdles at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, with a time of 7.43.
Tristie Johnson (BCU) placed fifth in the 55m, with a time of 7.02, at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Jared Kerr (UMES) won the long jump, with a leap of 7.38m, at the Great Dane Classic.
Desmond Lawrence (NCAT) won the 60m dash, with a time of 6.78, at the Gene Anderson Invitational.
Sasha-Ann Lebert (FAMU) finished first in the shot put with a throw of 14.19m (46-06.75 ft.) at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Nakia Linson (FAMU) finished in the top 10 in the 55m dash at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Wallace Spencer (Howard) captured the 200m, with a time of 22.27, at the Terrapins Invitational.
Giovanni Mowatt (Howard) placed first in the 800m, with a time of 1:56.20, at the Terrapins Invitational.
Marquis Noble (NCAT) accounted for 28 points at the Gene Anderson Invitational in the long jump, 200m and 60m dash.
Troy Pollard (FAMU) placed first in the 400m and ran the first leg of the 4x400 relay at the Kentucky Track and Field Invitational.
Emmanuel Price (Hampton) won the long jump at the Hampton Invitational, with a leap of 6.74m (22-1.5 ft.).
Michael Tiller (BCU) won the triple jump, with a leap of 15.41m (50-06.75 ft.) at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.
Michael Wamer (SCSU) placed second at the Gene Anderson Invitational in the triple jump in his first collegiate meet, with a leap of 14.39m (47-02.50 ft.).
Austin Williams (Howard) turned in a jump of 1.88m to capture second at the Terrapins Invitational.
