Coppin State's Christina Epps finished 12th in the triple jump on Saturday at the United States Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Epps' best jump came on her first attempt where she posted a mark of 41-1.50, which left her in sixth place after the first round.
She jumped 39-5.25 on her second jump and 40-11.75 on her final attempt.
Amanda Smock won the competition with a jump of 45-2.25.
