Sean Holston have been selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday.
Bell (So., Norfolk, Virginia, Sprints/Long Jump) notched a season-best distance in the long jump (18-11.25 ft), earning a win in the event for the second consecutive competition. She also took home a first place finish running a season best time of 25.22 in the 200m dash at the Doug Raymond Invitational in Kent, Ohio.
Holston (Jr., Springfield, Virginia, Sprints) captured gold in two events at the Doug Raymond Invitational. Running a season-best preliminary time of 6.71 in the 60m dash, Holston finished first with a time of 6.72. He also placed first in the 200m dash with a time of 21.18. In -In addition Holston was a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished in second place with a time of 3:15.01.

Reggie Dixon (Ham) won the 60m dash with a time of 6.65, which set a school record, at the New York City Gotham Cup.
Brandon Baskerville (CSU) placed second overall in the high jump competition at the New York Gotham Cup with a distance of 2.06m (6-9.00).
Cynthia Anais (UMES) paced a time of 2:54.79 in the 1000m run capturing first place at the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
Andre Walsh (UMES) won two first place finishes at the Navy Invitational including the 60m dash (6.93) and the 200m dash (21.59). Walsh was also a member of the 4x400 relay team finished fourth a team time of 3:28.79.
