Landria Buckley were named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Gauntlett (So., Roselle, New Jersey) aided his team to three top ten finishes at the 116th Penn Relay Carnival, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Gauntlett was a member of the 4x100m relay team that finished in seventh with a time of 40.53 and the 4x200m relay team that earned a top five time of 1:22.97. Both the 4x100m and 4x200m marks set new school records. He also competed with the 4x400m relay team that finished in fifth with at time of 3:11.89.
Buckley (Sr., Romulus, Michigan) finished second in the 400m hurdles at the 116th Penn Relays Carnival with a time of 59.03 and was among the top 20 in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.77. Buckley also ran in the 4x400m relay and finished with a time of 4:01.77.
Other Top Performers:
Reggie Dixon (Hampton) anchored the 4x100m relay team that finished in first with a time of 40.43. He was also a member of the 4x200m team that was first with a time of 1:23.75.
Martin Embry (B-CU) won the 100m (10.98) and the 200m (21.78) at the College of Bahamas Track and Field Classic.
Tochi Odocha (Howard) aided the 4x200m relay to a time of 1:28.06 at the Penn Relays.
Pertrice Richards (Hampton) had three top ten finishes at the Penn Relays. Richards was sixth in the 4x200m relay (1:34.29), seventh in the 100m (11.82) and eight in the 4x100m relay (48.19).
Nickesha Williams (B-CU) won the 100m with at time of 12.18 at the College of Bahamas Track and Field Classic. She also finished in second of the 200m with at time of 24.99.
