DSU?s Fan Fan Shines At Delaware Open

Delaware State's Tracey Fan Fan was second in the 100-meter hurdles and third in the 400-hurdles at the University of Delaware Open this weekend.

Fan Fan also ran the lead leg on the Hornets' second place 400-meter relay team.

She was runner-up in the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.08 seconds, and posted a time of 1:06.11 in the 400 hurdles.

Fan Fan also teamed up with Shelby Sykes, Calisa Emerson and Ayanna Kelly to finish second in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 48.27 seconds.

Delaware State was also runner-up in the 1600-meter relay. The team of Kendra Mayers, Britnee Watkins, Alba Knight and Jessica Harrison turned in a time of 4:02.04.

The Hornets also had a second-place performance by Nykeisha Sewell in the long jump. She had a top leap of 5.67 meters.

Delaware State's Dashera Richardson was third in the 800-meter run (2:20.10), while Krystina Muhammad was third in the triple jump (11.30 m).  

DSU's Kristen Johnson was fifth in the high jump (1.53 m) and Marshae Richardson tied for fifth in the triple jump.
