Hampton University senior Francena McCorory and University of Maryland Eastern Shore senior Allodin Fothergill were chosen as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Track and Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.
McCorory (Sr., Sprints, Hampton, Va.) won the 300m dash with a time of 37.18 at the Terrier Invitational. She also led the 4x400m relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 3:46.26.
Fothergill (Sr., Sprints, New Hempstead, N.Y.) provisionally qualified and won the 400m dash with a time of 46.52 at the Penn State National Invite. His time leads the MEAC and ranks fourth in the nation in the event.

Cynthia Anais (UMES) captured the gold in the 800m run with a time of 2:10.38 at the Penn State National Invite. She was also a part of the 4x400m relay team that finished among the top ten with a time of 3:48.27.
Damon Dixon (Ham) won the heptathlon with 5,236 points at the Penn State National Invite.
Dale Dunn (CSU) provisionally qualified in the 800m with a time of 1:50.37 at the Penn State National Invite. He also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay team that finished in fourth (3:10.93).
Christina Epps (CSU) won the triple jump at the Thomson Invite, hosted by the University of Delaware with a 39-5 ft. leap. She also placed sixth in the long jump (16-4 ft.) and competed in the high jump (4-11) and 60m hurdles (9.91).
Donte Holmes (DSU) won the 800m with at time of 1:50.81 the NYRR Saturday Night at the Armory II Invite.
Kendra Mayers (DSU) won the 500m run in 1:17.98 and aided the 4x800m relay team to a second place finish with a time of 10:04.31 at the Thomson Invite, hosted by the University of Delaware.
Stephen Small-Warner (How) captured first-place honors in the long jump with a 7.35m leap at the Patriot Games.
Josef Tessema (NSU) set a school record with a first-place time of 4:13.14 in the mile at the Penn State National Invite. Tessema was also a member of the distance medley team that finished among the top 10 with a time of 10:11.08.
