Delaware State set a school record in the men’s outdoor 4x400-meter relay during a first-place finish in the IC4A section of the Penn Relays today.
The Hornet team of Burton Clarke, Leslie Murray, Larrone Moore and Donte Holmes won the IC4A 4x400 relay in a school-record time of 3:05.80, more than a second ahead of runner-up Coppin State (3:09.82).
The field also included Cornell (third), Seton Hall (fifth), Rutgers (Sixth), Virginia (Seventh) and George Mason (Eighth).
Delaware State has already qualified for the NCAA East Regional Outdoor Championships in the 1600-meter relay.
