Landria Buckley earned All-American honors Saturday on the final day of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Championships inside Drake Stadium.
Buckley received the honor after her ninth place finish (13.50) in the 100m hurdle semifinal on Friday.
To be considered All-American, the student-athlete must place in the top eight of his/her respective event. While Buckley finished ninth, she was one of the top eight American-born finishers.
“She is a really great athlete and has showed throughout this entire competition that she has the ability to compete with the top athletes in the country and represent Howard on a high level,” head coach Michael Merritt said. “There are great things ahead in her future."
