BOSTON -- Junior All-American Steve Delice finished second in the 400 meters and also ran a leg on the Coppin State 4x400-meter relay team that placed second to lead the Eagles to an 11th-place finish at the IC4A Indoor Championships.
Delice was second in the 400 meters in a time of 47.13, while Gregory Gomes of Seton Hall won the event in 46.99. For the second straight day, Delice posted a time that met the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships provisional standard.
Delice also ran the anchor leg on the Eagles 4x400-meter relay team which finished second in a time of 3:10.73. Dale Dunn ran the lead leg followed by Carlinton Morgan, Jieutonne Archer and Delice.
Archer notched a third-place finish for the Eagles in the 500 meters as he finished the race in 1:02.66.
Ian Lovergie also scored for Coppin State as he tied for eighth in the high jump by clearing 6-7.
The Eagles finished 11th in the team standings with 22.33 points, while Georgetown won the team title with 86 points.
