Moore, Holmes Post Big Apple Wins At The NYC Gotham Cup Invite

Delaware State’s Larrone Moore and Donte’ Holmes were first finishers at the NYC Gotham Cup in New York City this weekend.

Moore was the top collegiate finisher in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.90 seconds. He has captured first place in each of his last two 60-meter competitions, including a victory at Delaware on Jan. 12.

Holmes topped the field in the 800-meter run, posting a winning time of 1:52.02. DSU’s Chris Walker was third in the 800 with a time of 1:55.93.

Delaware State was third in the 1600-meter relay. The team of Burton Clarke, Daeshon Davidson, Andre Easton and Brandon Reeves finished the race with a time of 3:16.85.
