Knox has had work published in SLAM magazine, Civil Action magazine and the American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball official souvenir program. He has also written for digital outlets d3hoops.com, the CIAA website and the Womenshoop blog, where he covered the WNBA for five years.

The hard work and love he has shown for his profession has resulted in successfully promoting student-athletes from all his previous career stops. Knox was instrumental in having one of his former student-athletes, Ashley Parker, named a finalist for the prestigious 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year Award, the first student-athlete from a HBCU to be named a finalist.

Prior to his tenure at Lincoln, Knox spent five years as a sports writer for Delaware County Daily Times. In addition to covering several outstanding athletes including Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Dawn Staley and Lisa Leslie, he covered the 2002 and 2003 WNBA all-star games and the 2004 NBA Draft.
