Symone Wright-Flowers joined the MEAC in May 2026 as the Director of Graphic Design & Creative Content. In this role, she will oversee and support the visual presentation of the conference brand across digital, social, print, championship, and event-related platforms.
A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Wright-Flowers began her collegiate career at Grand Canyon University, where she competed as a Division I multi-event athlete and contributed to five Western Athletic Conference championship teams. She later transferred to Shaw University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management while becoming a CIAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
Blending her background in athletics with expertise in branding and multimedia production, Wright-Flowers brings experience in graphic design, photography, social media strategy, event presentation, and digital storytelling. Her work focuses on enhancing the student-athlete experience while creating authentic and engaging content that strengthens connections between institutions, athletes, fans, and corporate partners.
Prior to joining the MEAC, Wright-Flowers served as a Graduate Assistant with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), where she supported communications, championships, creative operations, branding, and event execution.
