EUGENE, Ore. (June 13, 2026) – Howard University junior sprinter
Yahnari Lyons (Hampton, Ga.) and sophomore hurdler
Cenaiya Billups (Denver) closed out the 2025-26 outdoor season, each earning All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
Billups opened the night with a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking in at 55.42.
South Carolina's Akala Garrett won the national title (53.32).
Moments later, Lyons represented Bison Nation in the 200-meter dash where she placed fifth overall. The Georgia native ended her first season with a new personal best (22.31).
Georgia's Adaejah Hodge claimed the national crown with a new collegiate record (21.68).

David Oliver and the Bison wrapped up another success season, completing the triple crown for the second time in four years.
HU looks to defend all three crowns for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
