NORFOLK, Va., February 9, 2026 – Coppin State guard Khila Morris was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week presented by Wells Fargo.  Howard guard Ariella Henigan was named Rookie of the Week, while North Carolina Central Aniya Finger earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.        

Morris (G, 5-11, Sr., Bronx, N.Y.) averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 5.0 rebounds over two wins for Coppin State. highlighted by a game-high 24 points, six assists, and three steals against Delaware State. 

Henigan (G, 5-6, Fr., Chicago, Ill.) finished with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block in the 86-66 win over South Carolina State. 

Finger (F, 5-11, Gr., Charlotte, N.C.) anchored the Eagles defensively, totaling 28 rebounds and eight steals on the week, while averaging 15.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.7 steals over three games.

• Kaitlyn Adams (DSU) scored 15 points while adding three rebounds and one steal against Coppin State. 
• Brianna Barnes (UMES) totaled 39 points across three games, averaging 13.0 points and 5.7 rebounds while helping Maryland Eastern Shore post a 2-1 record on the week. 
• Da’Brya Clark (NSU) posted a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds while adding three assists, three steals, and two blocks in the win over North Carolina Central. 
• Jermesha Frierson (DSU) scored 13 points while adding five rebounds, three assists, and two steals against Coppin State. 
• Shanaii Gamble (CSU) averaged 11.0 rebounds and 8.0 points in two wins for the Eagles. 
• Amaya Harris (NCCU) dished out eight assists while adding six points and six steals over three games for North Carolina Central. 
• Aysia Hinton (NCCU) averaged 15.7 points and 2.7 rebounds during a 2-1 week for the Eagles. 
• Tiyanna James (MSU) recorded four steals, seven rebounds, one block, and two assists against Maryland Eastern Shore. 
• Nile Miller (HOW) contributed nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal to help Howard secure an 85-66 win over South Carolina State. 
• Kailyn Nash (MSU) recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks in 32 minutes against Maryland Eastern Shore. 
• Desi Taylor (UMES) totaled 16 points across three games, including a season-high 12 against North Carolina Central. 
• Zennia Thomas (HOW) poured in 20 points with nine rebounds and two assists in Howard’s win over South Carolina State. 
• Dakieran Turner (UMES) totaled 29 rebounds, nine points, four assists, and five steals across three games for the Hawks.
