NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced the addition of Edly Termilien as Director of Strategic Communications.
Termilien will serve as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball, volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis, softball and track & field. She will also assist with the conference’s overall communications and publicity efforts.
“We are excited to welcome Edly to the MEAC,” Commissioner Sonja Stills said. “She brings valuable experience across a variety of sports, along with a fresh and innovative approach that will serve our conference well. We’re excited for the energy and creativity she will bring as we continue to tell the stories of our student-athletes and our conference.”
Prior to joining the MEAC, Termilien served as an Athletics Communications Assistant at Middle Tennessee State, where she was the primary communications contact for women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, and outdoor track & field, while serving as the secondary contact for women’s basketball.
During her time at Middle Tennessee State, Termilien served as the host sports information director for the 2026 Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships and Outdoor Track & Field Championships, coordinating tournament communications, media logistics and publicity. Her tenure at Middle Tennessee State also included the Blue Raiders’ seventh consecutive Conference USA men’s tennis championship under head coach Jimmy Borendame.
A Texas native, Termilien earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. While at Texas, she gained experience with NPR’s KUT, ESPN’s Longhorn Network and Texas Athletics Communications.
Termilien also served as a Game Night Communications Assistant for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2024-25 NBA season, supporting game-night media operations.
