HBCU FCS National Team of the Week
Delaware State (37-32 win over UAlbany)
The Hornets from the MEAC waited through a fourth-quarter weather delay of more than three hours to have quarterback Kaiden Bennett score on a 27-yard run and erase a 32-31 deficit with 34 seconds remaining. Bennett, a grad transfer, finished with three rushing TDs and had 275 yards of total offense in coach first-year coach DeSean Jackson’s first win. With the upset, DSU ended an 11-game losing streak.
Honorable Mention: Alabama State (30-7 win at Southern)
