The MEAC will host its 11th Annual Youth Basketball Clinic on Tuesday, October 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (1401 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23504). On-site registration will open at 5 p.m.

This free community event will welcome local youth for an evening of skill development, teamwork, and fun, with instruction from MEAC standout student-athletes and support from MEAC head men’s and women’s basketball coaches.

Corporate partners The Coca-Cola Company, Grand Brand and Wells Fargo, will also support the event with on-site engagement and giveaways, creating a fun and memorable experience while highlighting the MEAC’s dedication to community impact.

For the second year in a row, Grand Brand will make the event even more special by giving away two twin-size beds to two deserving participants through its A Chance to Dream Grand program. This initiative reflects Grand Furniture’s commitment to the Hampton Roads community, providing furniture, bedding, and other essential items to local children and families in need. “The Youth Basketball Clinic is one of our most meaningful traditions,” said MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills. “Thanks to the involvement of our student-athletes, coaches, and corporate partners, we are able to inspire young people, teach valuable life lessons, and strengthen our ties within the community.”

Registration is free and open to boys and girls ages 8–12. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
