MEAC Announces 2025-26 Preseason Bowling Honors

North Carolina A&T State sophomore Victorya White has been named the 2025–26 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Bowler of the Year, as the Aggies were selected as preseason favorites to capture the conference title. The preseason team and predicted order of finish were determined by a vote of the league’s head bowling coaches and sports information directors.

White earned the preseason Player of the Year honor and a First-Team selection following a breakout freshman campaign that established her as one of the nation’s top young talents. Last season, she was named MEAC Rookie of the Year, selected to the NTCA All-Rookie Team, and earned NTCA Third-Team All-Americarecognition. She ranked among the top 15 nationally in five statistical categories, including 11th in strike percentage (53.2%) and 14th in player composite performance index (PCPI).

North Carolina A&T captured its ninth MEAC Championship last season with a tournament victory over the University of Alabama-Birmingham, 4-1. The #8 Aggies earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, competing in the Rochester Regional. A&T pushed top-seeded Youngstown State to the brink in a winner-take-all Baker format before falling 4-0. The Aggies closed the 2024–25 NCAA season with an impressive 87–38 overall record and a 12–2 conference mark.

In the MEAC preseason poll, the Aggies earned 12 first-place votes and 110 points, claiming the top spot. Maryland Eastern Shore finished second with 101 points (1 first-place vote), followed by Delaware State (83 points) and University of Alabama Birmingham (78 points, 2 first-place votes). Morgan State (64), Howard (41), Coppin State (34), and Norfolk State (23) rounded out the poll.

Joining White on the Preseason All-MEAC Team are teammate Jasmine Hall (N.C. A&T), along with Mariana Santos Rivero (Maryland E. Shore)Madison Colston (UAB)Cameren Sullivan (Howard), and Madelynn Oliva (UAB), with Sullivan and Oliva tying in the voting to earn the honors.

The 2025 MEAC Bowling Championship gets underway, March 20-22, 2026.
