NORFOLK, Va., December 8, 2025 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) has announced its Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors presented by Wells Fargo.
Delaware State’s Corey Perkins has been named Player of the Week, while teammate
Miles Webb earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Coppin State’s Nelson Lamizana captured Rookie of the Week recognition.
Perkins (G, 6-3, Grad., Wilmington, Del.) delivered a standout week, recording a triple-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in a narrow 66-59 loss to Navy. He followed that with 13 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals in a 75-72 win over Delaware. For the week, Perkins totaled 25 points, 17 rebounds, 15 assists, and seven steals to help the Hornets finish 1-1 in non-conference play.
Webb (F, 6-8, Sr., Arlington, Va.) anchored Delaware State’s defense, totaling 18 rebounds, three steals, and one block during the week. He recorded eight rebounds, one steal, and one block against Navy, then posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, plus two steals, in the win over Delaware.
Lamizana (F, 6-9, 215, Fr., West Chester, Pa.) made an immediate impact for Coppin State, scoring 13 points on 50 percent shooting (5-of-10) and hitting both free throws against Liberty. He added three rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes of action against West Virginia.
Other Top Performers:
- Alex Cotton (Howard) posted a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Bowie State.
- Elijah Davis (Morgan State) scored 21 points with four rebounds, four assists, and one steal against Longwood.
- Devin Ellis (Norfolk State) tallied 17 points, shooting 8-of-9 from the field, along with eight rebounds, one assist, and one block against James Madison.
- Dionte Johnson (N.C. Central) totaled 28 points, 10 assists, 11 steals, and five rebounds over two games.
- Gage Lattimore (N.C. Central) scored 29 points with three rebounds, two assists, and one steal against James Madison.
- Joseph Locandro (Maryland E. Shore) recorded a season-high 20 points with four rebounds and two assists against American.
- Ose Okojie (Howard) contributed 17 points, 7-of-10 shooting, four assists, and three steals in the win over Bowie State.
