EVANSTON, Ill. (December 30, 2025) —Sophomore forward Travelle Bryson (Anderson, S.C.) came off the bench to score a season-high 19 points and senior guard Ose Okojie (Brampton, Canada) added 13 points, but a combination of foul trouble and free throw shooting proved to be too much to overcome as the Howard University men's basketball team fell, 80-60, to Northwestern (8-5) at the Welsh-Arena Arena. 

Howard travels to Orangeburg, S.C., to take on the Bulldogs of South Carolina State in the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) opener Saturday (Jan. 3) at 4 p.m.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The South Carolina State men's basketball team dropped a tough, 105-54, setback on the road Tuesday (Dec. 30) night to nationally ranked #19/20 Tennessee inside Food City Center.  

Sophomore guard Jayden Johnson led the way with a game-high 25 points, while connecting 4-of-6 from 3-point range in 26 minutes of play. Rayniel Wright added six points in the loss. 


Morgan State def.  Penn State Brandywine 92-55 BOX SCORE TOO COME | RECAP 

BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 30, 2025) – Alfred Worrell poured in a game-high 32 points as Morgan State cruised to a 92–55 victory over Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday night at Hill Field House.  

The win improved the Bears' record to 3–11 and snapped a three-game losing streak as they closed out their non-conference schedule. Brandywine fell to 6–7 overall, dropping its second straight contest against a Division I opponent.
