North Carolina Central def. Queens 61-51 BOX SCORE | RECAP  

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Morgan Callahan tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double and North Carolina Central took charge in the second half for 61-51 women 's basketball victory over Queens (N.C.) at Curry Arena on Wednesday afternoon. 
 

Victoria Morris added three steals overall and the trio of Tierney Coleman, Aysia Hinton and Nia Young each had two steals for the Eagles, who entered the contest ranked 63rd in the nation in forcing turnovers. 
 
Coleman also added seven points, and Young chipped in six points and six rebounds for the Eagles, who shot 40.6 percent while holding Queens 25 percent in the second half. 


Towson def. Maryland Eastern Shore 87-86 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

PRINCES ANNE, MD-- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore put together a strong all-around performance but fell just short in an 87–86 overtime battle against Towson.  

Dayshawna Carter posted a season-high 21 points, shooting 8-for-15 from the field.  Candela Sabater Sanchez recorded a career high in three-point field goals, going 2-for-3 from beyond the arc.
