MEAC Announces Weekly Football Honors - Howard’s McJimpsey, Chandler and Allen IV Earn Weekly Honors

NORFOLK, Va.  – Howard linebacker Judah McJimpsey has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office today. Teammates Ben Chandler and Liam Allen IV were also honored, earning Rookie of the Week and Specialist of the Week, respectively.

McJimpsey (LB, 6-2, 215, Sr., Spartanburg, S.C.) led the Bison defense with seven tackles, including three solo stops and 1.5 tackles for loss, along with a quarterback hurry in the matchup against Tennessee State.

Chandler (DB, 5-10, 181, Fr., Washington, D.C.) contributed five tackles, four of them solo, in the contest against Tennessee State.

Allen IV (P, 6-4, 185, Fr., Lake Mary, Fla.) averaged 43.5 yards on six punts, with three punts of 50 yards or more and one downed inside the 20-yard line.
