The Howard Bison will visit the Tennessee State Tigers in Nashville, Tenn., for their final road contest of a three-game stretch, looking to bounce back after a 32-14 setback at Sacred Heart.  Against Sacred Heart, the Bison struggled in their passing game as graduate quarterback Tyriq Starks threw for just 80 yards on 11-of-21 passing while being sacked three times. Howard found more success on the ground behind Anthony Reagan Jr., who rushed for 117 yards on 17 carries.  Tennessee State enters the matchup having dropped their last five games, with their only win coming in Week 1 against North Carolina A&T, 24-21. In their most recent outing against Southeast Missouri, Tennessee State leaned on its passing game, led by Byron McNair’s 175 yards through the air. The Tigers have struggled to establish the run this season, averaging just 2.8 yards per carry.  Tennessee State currently leads the all-time series 1-0 after defeating Howard 27-14 at home in 2024. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., and the game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
