Fuquay-Varina, NC - South Carolina State defensive end Michael Lunz, II and linebacker Jordan Franklin have been named HBCU National Co-Players of the Week.
 
Lunz,II a graduate student from Radcliff, Ky., recorded six tackles (four solo), 3.5 two sacks, and forced a fumble, while Franklin recorded six tackles (three solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and forced and recovered a fumble in the Bulldogs' 22-16 victory over North Carolina A&T.
 
Lunz and Franklin will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware which airs on radio stations across the country including on ESPN Orangeburg, and outside of the U.S. in The Bahamas and British Virgin Islands.
