NORFOLK, Va. — Maryland Eastern Shore senior Khalil Rmidi Kinini and Florida A&M junior Judith Kibii were selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Athletes of the Week, the conference announced today.
Rmidi Kinini (Sr., Malaga, Spain) claimed the runner-up spot at the Princeton Invitational and finished just one-second shy of capturing the victory. He shaved 10 seconds off his conference-leading time to complete the 8k in 24:02.90.
Kibii (Jr., Eldoret, Kenya) won the 6k Berry College Invitational. She captured the top spot with a time of 21:59.00 to help the Lady Rattlers to the team title.

Ronaldo Ball (CSU) posted a time of 27:22.00 at the DSU Pre-Conference Invitational to finish seventh.
G’Jasmyne Butler (NCAT) finished second, with a time of 19:22.00, at the DSU Pre-Conference Invitational.
Karen Escobedo (MSU) placed third, with a time of 20:00.07, at the DSU Pre-Conference Invitational.
Candice Higgins (NSU) posted a time of 22:57.00 at the Christopher Newport Invitational to finish seventh.
Sharon Jerop (MDES) registered a 19th-place finish, with a time of 23:17.80, at the Princeton Invitational.
Ronald Korir (NSU) recorded an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational, with a time of 25:11.80.
Tatiana Ogundeko (CSU) finished fourth, with a time of 20:07.30, at the DSU Pre-Conference Invitational.
Emmanuel Too (HAM) posted a time of 25:50.00 at the Christopher Newport Invitational to finish third.
Darren White (NCAT) aided the Aggies to a first-place finish at the DSU Pre-Conference Invitational, with a time of 25:42.00.
