Isaiah Green joined the MEAC in May 2026 as Assistant Commissioner for Strategic Communications. In this role, he oversees the conference’s strategic communications efforts, including media relations and statistical reporting, while serving as the primary media contact for football, men's basketball, bowling, cross country, flag football and women's golf.
Prior to joining the MEAC, Green served as director of strategic communications at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was the primary communications contact for women’s basketball and men’s soccer. Before that, he worked as assistant director of athletic communications at Wake Forest University, overseeing communications for women’s soccer, men’s tennis, track and field, and cross country.
A native of Spring Lake, N.C., Green earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Winston-Salem State University before completing a master’s degree in kinesiology at East Carolina University.
