Randolph Brent, better known as Randy, serves as the Director of Digital Media & Production for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Joining the conference in 2023, Randy is responsible for creative video production, fan engagement content for in-venue elements, and leads day-to-day operation of the MEAC Network.

A Morgan State alum, Brent graduated from the university in May 2021 from Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. School of Engineering with a Bachelors of Science in Transportation Systems. Brent is also a former student-athlete, as he played for the Morgan State football team as a defensive back for two seasons during his years in undergrad.

Shortly after his playing career, Brent joined the film crew for the Bears. That opportunity opened the door to become a digital media intern for the athletic department. Once Brent reached commencement, he was soon brought back to his alma mater to take lead as the first Director of Multimedia & Production for athletics at Morgan State.

He spent much of his tenure orchestrating and developing a blueprint for the department's first-ever digital media team. After
much recruiting, Brent had gained support from over 20 student content creators who served in the athletic department across the spectrum of digital media and production.

During his time at Morgan, Brent worked with major corporations such as ESPN, NBA, NFL, TNT, and CBS to spread the brand of Morgan State athletics to a mass audience. This team had revived the social and digital media presence for the Morgan State Bears and are now known as MSU Creatives. They quickly caught attention of not only the athletic staff, student-athletes, and their fans, but of the university and with Brent’s leadership, they are recognized as an official entity of the school and still drive to tell the stories of the university and athletics to this day.
