Twana Allen ranks as one of the top track and field performers in Coppin State history.

She holds indoor school records in the 800m, 4x800m relay, and the distance medley relay. She was also a member of the 4x800m relay that owns the school’s outdoor record.

Allen became Coppin State’s first indoor All-American after finishing fifth in the 800m race at the 1996 NCAA Indoor Championships.

She was a member of the Coppin State cross country team, which won MEAC Cross Country championships in 1994 and 1996. 

Allen is currently a paramedic in Baltimore City.
