Norfolk State men’s tennis capped a strong MEAC Round Up performance with a 5–2 win over Morgan State, improving to 10–8 overall and 3–0 in conference play.

After dropping the doubles point, the Spartans surged in singles, winning five of six matches, highlighted by Marcin Andrzejczak’s comeback victory at No. 1 and straight-set wins from Szymon Janzen, Dominik Simunovic, Kasper Kulpa, and Marcin Dójczynski. Szymon Malecki fought to three sets at No. 2 but came up short in the lone singles loss.


SC State def. Coppin State 7-0 BOX SCORE 

South Carolina State Bulldogs posted a dominant 7-0 MEAC victory over Coppin State Eagles on Tuesday. The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches to claim the early point and carried that momentum into singles, winning all six flights in straight sets.

Standout performances included Mikalai Bankou and Novak Novakovic, who anchored both doubles and singles wins, while Andril Borodatiuk, Gabriel Johnson, and Hoang Anh Pham each delivered decisive straight-set victories to seal the sweep.
