South Carolina State (7–6, 2–0 MEAC) swept all three doubles matches to secure the opening point and take an early 1–0 lead. The Bulldogs carried that momentum into singles play, winning five of the six matches to seal the victory.
Morgan State Bears (5–9, 0–2 MEAC) earned their only point at the No. 3 singles position, where Mohamed Ridha Ghettas outlasted Iliyas Muratuly in a hard-fought three-set battle. After dropping the first set 5–7, Ghettas rallied to win 6–4, 12–10.

The Norfolk State men's tennis team continued its strong start to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play with a dominant 7-0 sweep over Howard on Sunday morning at the ODU Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
With the win, the Spartans improve to 9-8 overall and 2-0 in conference play, while the Bison fall to 0-9 overall and 0-2 in MEAC action.
Norfolk State claimed the early advantage by securing the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights. The duo of Marcin Dójczynski and Boris Lunin earned a 6-4 victory at No. 2, while Przemek Nkolajuk and Szymon Janzen followed with a 6-4 win at No. 3 to clinch the point. Howard picked up the lone doubles victory at the top flight.

North Carolina Central's men's tennis team opened the MEAC Round-Up with a dominant 7-0 sweep over Morgan State on Saturday evening at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
NCCU (9-6, 2-0 MEAC) secured the doubles point in a tight contest. Morgan State opened with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles, but Pol Puig Montiel and Leo Fortier-Gariepy answered with a 6-2 victory at No. 3. The deciding match came at No. 1 doubles, where Rodrigo Alves and Kareem Abdul Hakim prevailed in a 7-3 tiebreaker, giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
From there, NCCU controlled the match, winning all six singles matches. Naresh Bharathy led the way at No. 1 singles with a pair of 6-2 victories. Alves and Abdul Hakim followed with hard-fought three-set wins.
