NORFOLK, Va., Mar. 24, 2026 -- Norfolk State senior Dominik Simunovic has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, while teammate Marcin Andrzejczak earned MEAC Rookie of the Week honors. 
 
Simunovic (Sr., Zagreb, Croatia) went a perfect 4-0 in singles play, winning each match in straight sets while competing across the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. 
 
Andrzejczak (Fr., Lodz, Poland) posted a 2-3 singles record while also earning a doubles win at the No. 1 spot. 
 
Other Top Performers  

• Antoni Pankowski (NCCU) helped power NCCU to a five-match win streak, earning a dominant 6-2, 6-0 singles win and teaming up for a 6-0 doubles victory.  
• Santiago Pinna (NCCU) tallied a 6-1, 6-0 singles win and extended his streak to nine consecutive singles victories.
