BALTIMORE, Md. – Jae Slack sparked five players in double figures with 18 points and North Carolina Central dominated the second half to overcome a 14-point halftime deficit in an 88-77 come-from-behind victory over Coppin State in MEAC men's basketball action on Saturday.

The Eagles remained unbeaten in the MEAC at 2-0 and improved to 6-11 overall with the win. Coppin State dropped to 1-1 in the conference and 3--16 overall. NCCU is 2-0 in the MEAC for the fourth time in six seasons.


Norfolk State def. Delaware State 66-64  BOX SCORE | RECAP 

DOVER, Del. – The Norfolk State men's basketball team battled down to the wire to secure a 66-64 road victory over Delaware State on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Hall.

With the win, Norfolk State improves to 7-11 overall and 1-1 in MEAC play, while Delaware State drops to 5-12 overall and 0-2 in conference action.

PRINCESS ANNE, MD-- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks improved to 2-0 in MEAC play with a 69-57 win over Howard on Saturday.  . Jaden Cooper scored 13 points while Michael Teal recorded 11 points and a game-high six assists and Zion Obanla came off the bench to score 10 points and led UMES with seven rebounds and two blocks.
