Newark, DE — On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Delaware State Hornets men's cross country program competed in the University of Delaware Invitational, which featured 88 highly skilled runners.

The invitational was highlighted by Marian Drazan's first-place finish, earning his second straight victory following the Delaware State Invitational.

Last week's MEAC Men's Runner of the Week, Drazan, pulled away with speed, setting a strong pace of 3:13 per kilometer. He crossed the finish line with a final time of 25:66.

The Hornets finished third overall with 56 points.

Johnathan Drew followed with an eighth-place finish at 28:21.3.

Ian Cain (29:06.4), Mugo Waweru (29:28.4), Nathan Donaldson (30:34.5), Dashawn Keller (30:47.1), and Tyler Blandin (33:27.5) closed out the invite for the Hornets.
