DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central will compete in the adidas Cross Country Challenge at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C., on Friday, Sept. 19. The men's 6K race starts at 5:15 p.m. followed by the women's 5K race at 5:55 p.m.

ABOUT THE MEET
The Eagles will race against regional and national competition including nationally-ranked N.C. State (women), North Carolina (men/women) and Wake Forest (men).

ADMISSION AND PARKING
Both admission and parking are free.

LAST TIME OUT
NCCU standout runners Emmanuel Paddyfote and Alitza Dennard were individual winners in their respective races in the UNCW Beach Blast 5K at Veterans Park on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Paddyfote finished first in the men's 5K race in 15:32.77 to lead the Eagles to victory in the team standings. Dennard ran a winning time of 19:33.96 in the women's 5K race to spark NCCU to a second-place finish.
