DURHAM, N.C. – A home clash against archrival North Carolina A&T and road games against four Power Four programs including juggernaut South Carolina highlight the 2025-26 North Carolina Central women's basketball non-conference schedule, which was released Monday.
The A&T contest is one of seven home tilts against non-conference foes at McDougald-McLendon Arena. In addition to facing A&T (Dec. 2), the Eagles will host UNC Wilmington (Nov. 7), UNC Asheville (Nov. 13), College of Charleston (Nov. 18), UNC Greensboro (Nov. 26), Averett (Dec. 30) and William Peace (Feb. 3).
The South Carolina contest on Dec. 7 is one of seven away games against non-conference teams. NCCU opens the season Nov. 3 at North Carolina, one of two ACC teams on the slate. The Eagles travel to Wake Forest on Nov. 20.
On Dec. 22, the Eagles make the trek to Oklahoma of the SEC. They also visit Old Dominion (Nov. 23), High Point (Dec.14) and Queens, N.C. (Dec.17).
Five teams on the Eagles' schedule appeared in the NCAA Tournament last season including South Carolina, the tourney runner-up. The other schools were North Carolina, Oklahoma, UNC Greensboro and High Point.
All home games will be livestreamed on ESPN+.
