DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central's men's basketball team is scheduled to play 15 non-conference games during the 2025-26 season, with six opportunities to catch the Eagles in McDougald-McLendon Arena before MEAC action.

Head coach LeVelle Moton brings his squad to the Lenovo Center, opening the season facing NC State on Nov. 3. This will be the sixth meeting between the two programs and the first since NCCU defeated the Wolfpack in 2013 in an 82-72 overtime road win.

The Eagles follow up at Virginia on Nov. 7 before coming back to the state of North Carolina. After a trip to App State (Nov. 9), NC Central hosts its home opener on Nov. 12, welcoming Bluefield State for the first time since 2019.

Before playing the second home game against Toccoa Falls (Nov. 18), the Maroon and Gray head to the Smith Center to take on the Tarheels of North Carolina on Nov. 14.

NCCU hits the road two more times before the Thanksgiving holiday, featuring a match-up with the Dayton Flyers on Nov. 22. Though this will be the first meeting between the two teams, this won't be the first time the Eagles have played in UD Arena, as NC Central played three NCAA Tournament games there previously.

USC Upstate hosts NCCU in Spartanburg, S.C. (Nov. 25) before returning home to face the Carolina University Bruins for the second straight season (Nov. 29).

The Eagles start the month of December at James Madison (Dec. 3). Next up, the rivals of North Carolina A&T visit McDougald-McLendon Arena on Dec. 6 for the first time since 2021. The Eagles and Aggies split the last two contests.

NC Central debuts at Rupp Arena on Dec. 9 against the Kentucky Wildcats before hosting two consecutive games versus Mid-Atlantic Christian (Dec. 17) and Longwood (Dec. 20). The Eagles wrap up non-conference action at Penn State on Dec. 29.
