2025 MEAC Softball Championship Set for May 7–10 in Norfolk; Title Game to Air Live on ESPN+

NORFOLK, Va., May 6, 2025 — The 2025 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Championship is set to bring four days of thrilling action to Norfolk, Virginia, culminating with the championship game airing live on ESPN+ at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
 
Tournament play begins Wednesday, May 7, with a full slate of opening-round matchups scheduled for 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m., and 8 p.m. at the NSU Softball Field on the campus of Norfolk State University.
 
Action continues Thursday, featuring three more games. Two elimination contests from the consolation bracket take place at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., followed by a winner's bracket showdown at 8 p.m. to determine the first team to punch its ticket to Saturday’s final.
 
Friday’s schedule includes two more elimination games, with the final contest at 5 p.m. The winning team will advance to Saturday to challenge the unbeaten finalist for the MEAC championship title.
