South Carolina State Women Clinch Third Consecutive MEAC Regular Season Title

NORFOLK, Va., April 11, 2025 – The South Carolina State University women’s tennis team has secured the 2025 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) regular season championship, following a 5-2 win over Norfolk State. The title marks the third consecutive regular season crown for the Lady Bulldogs. 

South Carolina State now stands at 11-4 overall and remains undefeated in MEAC play with a 6-0 record. The team is riding a nine-match win streak as it enters the final stretch of the regular season, with two matches remaining before postseason play. 

The Lady Bulldogs, led by Head Coach Hardeep Judge, will enter the 2025 MEAC Tennis Championship scheduled for April 24-26 in Cary, N.C., with their sights set on a sixth consecutive and 19th overall conference tournament title. 

The winner of the 2025 MEAC Tennis Championship will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
