NORFOLK, Va., April 11, 2025 – South Carolina State University men's tennis has clinched the 2025 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Tennis regular season title following a dominant 7-0 victory over Norfolk State.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 12-3 overall and finished the conference schedule with an undefeated 5-0 mark in conference play.
South Carolina State has now secured the No. 1 seed for the upcoming 2025 MEAC Tennis Championship, set for April 24-26 in Cary, N.C. The Bulldogs aim to capture their fifth consecutive and program’s 20th tournament title.
The victory over Norfolk State extends the Bulldogs' current win streak to nine matches as they head into the final week of the regular season. Under the direction of Head Coach Hardeep Judge, South Carolina State continues to build a legacy of excellence in MEAC men’s tennis.
The MEAC Tennis Championship will feature all six teams in a three-day event to determine the league’s automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament.
