Howard def. Morgan State- 62-53 

BALTIMORE, MD – Freshman guard Saniyah King (Washington) poured in a career-high 25 points and graduate guard Destiny Howell (18 points) and junior forward Zennia Thomas (15 points) combined for 33 points to lead the Howard University women's basketball team to a 62-53 win at Morgan State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown at Hill Fieldhouse. 
  
The win was the sixth straight for the streaking Bison, improving their record (16-9, 8-1 MEAC).

Delaware State def. South Carolina State 77-56 

MEMORIAL HALL, -- Kiarra Mcelrath totaled 20 points to help lead the Delaware State women's basketball team past the South Carolina State Bulldogs 77-56 at home Saturday. 

The Hornets (5-19, 1-9) had three players score in double figures, led by Mcelrath, who had 20 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Ericka Huggins tackled on a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds and Najah Lane helped out with 15 points and two steals.

Norfolk State def. Coppin State 76-54 

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State forward Kierra Wheeler dominated both ends of the floor on Saturday afternoon, scoring 28 points to lead the Spartans past Coppin State  at the CSU Physical Education Complex Arena. 
  
Wheeler finished the day with 28 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and one steal, shooting 12-of-18 from the floor and 3-of-3 at the free throw line. Diamond Johnson added 13 points, nine rebounds and seven steals as the Spartans picked up their 12th consecutive win.
