BALTIMORE, Md. --- Six Spartans scored in double-figures in a 79-63 win at Coppin State on Saturday evening.
Brian Moore Jr. led all scorers with 14 points, adding three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks to his totals. Jalen Myers (12), Terrance Jones (12), Kuluel Mading (11), Christian Ings (10), and Chris Fields Jr. (10) also scored in double-figures.
Norfolk State got off to a tremendous start, opening the contest on a 9-0 run capped off by an Ings layup to force an Eagles timeout. Coppin State cut into the deficit, scoring the next six points of the game. Moore used a step back jumper to end the scoring drought, putting the Spartans back up by six.

BALTIMORE (February 22, 2025) – Graduate forward Cameron Shockley-Okeke (Norwalk, Conn.) scored 14 of his team-high 24 points in the second half and freshman standout Blake Harper (Washington) added his 15 of his 21 points after intermission to help the Howard University men's basketball team hold off Morgan State, 87-81, in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) clash at Hill Fieldhouse before 4,234 fans.
The Bison improve to 12-15 overall (7-3 MEAC) while the Bears fall to 11-15 overall (5-5 MEAC).
Shockley-Okeke set the tone early for the Bison, giving Howard the early comfortable lead.

DOVER, DE—Sophomore guard Mitchell Taylor tossed in a team-high 23 points to lead South Carolina State to an, 94-88, overtime thriller over Delaware State Saturday (Feb.22) inside Memorial Hall.
South Carolina State improves to 14-12 overall, 7-3 in the MEAC and remain in 2nd place in the league race, while Delaware State falls to 13-12 overall, 5-5 in the league.
Three other Bulldogs scored in double figures along with Drayton Jones 19 points, Wilson Dubinsky 16 points and nine (9) rebounds and Omar Croskey with 10 points and five rebounds.
Davion Everett provided a solid effort off the bench with seven (7) points and three rebounds.
