BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 21, 2025)--Senior guard Ja'la Bannerman scored a game-high 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting from beyond the arc, but it wasn't enough, as the Lady Bears fell to rival Loyola Maryland, 65-58 on Sunday afternoon at Reitz Arena.
Morgan State fell to 1-14 on the season, while the Greyhounds improved to 4-7 on the season, while earning just their third win in the all-time series' 17 meetings.

GLEN ALLEN, Va. – Paris McBride scored a career-high 20 points as Coppin State's women's basketball team came up short against Georgia, 82-55, on Sunday afternoon at Henrico Sports & Events Center, as part of the 4 Tha Culture Holiday Hoops Classic. The Eagles fell to 2-12 overall while the Bulldogs remained unbeaten at 13-0.
A senior from Richmond, Va., McBride led all players in scoring, hitting 7-of-17 from the floor with a career-best six 3-pointers. McBride also pulled down five rebounds to go with four assists and a steals.
