Baltimore Md--Morgan State Senior Ja'la Bannerman recorded a game- and career-high 32 points on Sunday afternoon in the Lady Bears' 78-56 loss at Central Florida (UCF). 

Morgan State (1-11) will now travel to Baton Rouge, La., to face the fifth-ranked Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers on Tuesday, Dec. 16 for field trip day at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

High Point def. NC Central 82-60 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Morgan Callahan scored a season-high 22 points for North Carolina Central in an 82-60 women's basketball loss to High Point at Qubein Center on Sunday. 
 
Callahan was 8 of 17 from the floor and added six rebounds for the Eagles. She was one point away from tying her career high of 23 points set in a win over Pfeiffer on Jan. 23, 2025. 


La Salle def. Md. Eastern Shore 63-58 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

PRINCESS ANNE, MD-- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore battled throughout, but came up short in a 63–58 loss to La Salle on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks led at halftime and traded the lead multiple times in the second half, but a late fourth quarter push by the Explorers created separation. UMES stayed within striking distance down the stretch behind key contributions from Ashanti Lynch, Brianna Barnes and Lainey Allen, but La Salle sealed the game at the free-throw line in the final minute.
