ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Coppin State's men's basketball team held a brief lead midway through the second half but was unable to hang on, falling, 72-62 to South Alabama on Saturday afternoon at McArthur Center in the final game of the Showdown in St. Pete MTE. The Eagles fell to 0-6 on the year while the Jaguars remain unbeaten at 5-0 overall.
DeMariontay Hall led CSU with 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting to go with seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Hussain Williams was the only other Eagles player in double figures with 12 points as he hit 7-of-8 free throws. Hassan Perkins and Khali Horton added nine points apiece as Perkins buried three 3-pointers and dished out five assists.

WEST HAVEN, CT --The Delaware State men's basketball team got a 23-point performance from the bench, but fell 65-52 to the New Haven Chargers on the road Saturday.
The Hornets (0-4) had three players score in double figures, led by Ponce James, who had 13 points and three steals. Zion Bethea tacked on 11 points and Miles Webb helped out with 10 points from the bench.
Delaware State forced 17 New Haven turnovers while committing 11 themselves in Saturday's game. The Hornets turned those takeaways into 21 points on the offensive end of the floor. Kareem Watson's three steals led the way for Delaware State.
Mercyhurst def. Morgan State 86-42 BOX SCORE | RECAP
ERIE, Pa. (Nov. 15, 2025) – Bernie Blunt III poured in 19 points to lead Mercyhurst to an 86–72 win over Morgan State on Saturday night at Owen McCormick Court inside the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Bears drop to 1–3 on the season, while the Lakers improve to 3–1.
Rob Lawson came off the bench and paced the Bears with a team-high 16 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the free throw line, adding four assists in 36 minutes of action.
